The toe cap gives you extra wear protection and the out sole has excellent traction for walking on snow and ice.

"I really like the Rime boot especially for trail riding and working around the cabin. I ordered a 9 because I am typically an 8.5 in boots. They were too big so exchanged for an 8. They are still a little big but with thick socks will be perfect!"

"These boots are really warm and comfy! I have sledded in -20+ temps and my feet have never gotten cold! They are supportive enough, but have some give so you can move around on your sled or whatever activity you are doing. The interchangeable laces are a fun added touch!!!"
"I've had these boots for 3 seasons and absolutely love them! They fit well, keep my feet toasty (and my feet run super cold), and have great support while still being flexible enough to ride backcountry. I have bought these boots for all of the ladies in my family who ride. They fit true to size which was super nice because I have run into issues with this with other boots. I love that I only have to wear 1 good pair of socks with them and that keeps them really warm. The different color laces are also fun to switch out!"
"I have these in a size 11. Extra room for thicker socks. I was so amazed at how lightweight these are and yet they are also warm. They kept my feet dry and warm on the trail on warm days and even on the coldest of days. Love the fact that can change out the laces to match snow gear."
"My feet are always cold, so I bought these in hopes of keeping them warm when snowmobiling. I’ve been able to wear these boots with some thin socks in pretty cold temps, and my feet are toasty warm. They are comfortable to wear. It’s nice that it came with difference lace color options so I could pick which one looked best with my snowmobile gear. I also love how tall the boots are which provides good coverage and keeps snow and cold wind off my legs. Would definitely recommend!"
"As someone with perpetually cold feet, I HATE buying boots only to find out they don’t keep my feet warm. These are one of the best boots I have warn and one of my favorite DSG purchases. They are incredibly warm and super sturdy and supportive! They fit true-to-size (I am an 8.5 so I ordered the 9 and with a pair of wool socks, fit perfectly). I love the option to customize the laces too. I don’t usually wear lace-up boots, but I’ve never had a problem with these coming untied while riding!"
