Life Changing Jacket And Bibs. . .

"I'm not being hyperbolic when I say, the Avid Jacket and Bibs have been life changing. Yes, they are as warm, waterproof, and well-made as the website states; but fishing in them delivers an experience that goes beyond what the description and the reviews are touting. Move to drill an ice hole, then move to catch a Lake Trout, then move to stun and bleed the fish, and I don't notice anything but what I'm focused on in the moment. There's no binding, or billowing, or gaps opening to let cold air in - there is only me, on the ice, with my attention on the events of the day, instead of on what I'm wearing. That is such an incredible blessing - to be so well protected from the elements that I can simply be in those elements, doing what I'm intending. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone at DSG Outerwear for their vision, expertise, and determination. In designing and making available such amazing gear for women you have done a great good - a very great good."

This jacket is very warm

"This jacket is very warm and a great fit!!! So awesome to have a women's line of clothes like this. Usually the fit is so uncomfortable but this is perfect!!! Even bought the bibs and I am only 5'3" and they have snaps to shorten them to fit amazing!!! Love this suit. Every women deserves one like this. My husband is happy to because I can stay out fishing with him because I'm not freezing. So worth the money!!! Nice work DSG"

A quality coat with many pockets!

"I bought this jacket in size medium in evergreen. I would say it is true to size, but would consider sizing up if you wear multiple layers underneath. There are so many pockets conveniently placed to hold your phone, license and keys. As well as, A retractable clip to hold your hook remover and forceps."

"I ordered a medium in this jacket, and I can layer my baselayer, heated vest, and a hoodie below it with a snug fit with my usual size. Any more layers, I would order up. I am 5'8" 150#, with an athletic build. I really like and appreciate the water resistant and flotation technology, as well as the underarm zip vents and all the pockets. I like the color options, especially the Realtree Aspect Glacier."

What an upgrade!

"This jacket changed my idea of what women's ice wear is. I updated my float suit last year to the Avid 2.0, form a previous brand and could NOT believe how lightweight and non-bulky this suit was. It has a flattering fit but all the function and warmth you'd expect in a technical ice fishing suit. The jacket has at least 8 pockets and the tool clip is perfect for keeping hook removers close by and handy. We snowmobile 30-50 min to get to back country lakes and the wind has never gone through the jacket. Wore it for a season and it took a beating, but I stayed warm and dry, and the suit is still ready for more!"
